Puffed Pastry Baked Brie

The holiday means spending time with family and friends. In this video, I will show you how to make an Easy Holiday Appetizer, a Brie En Croute Recipe. We are going to bake brie in a puff pastry.

Brie En Croute Frequently Asked Question:

Do you take the rind off of brie cheese before baking?

A note regarding the rind: I did not trim the rind away prior to baking. It is completely harmless, and you don't notice it much when your brie is cooked. When I'm feasting upon brie unbaked, I sometimes cut off the rind purely because I don't take joy in it.

How do you eat brie en croute?

Brush the outside of the brie en croute with egg wash.

Incorporate your favorite jam and nuts.

Wrap the brie en croute in a puff pastry.

Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until pastry is golden light brown. Cool down and serve: Relocate brie en croute to an uncontaminated work surface or serving plate and allow to cool down for 5-10 minutes. Serve with fruit crackers and artisanal bread.

Can you reheat brie en croute?

Heating Leftover Brie En Croute.  If you have leftovers, you can loosely cover it in aluminum foil and reheat it in a 350 ° F oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until the brie is runny again and the puff pastry is hot.
